Try as I may, I can no longer locate that specific bulletin within GM’s Service Information system. It was a specific bulletin that referred to the 16”-inch aluminium wheels that were optional on pretty much any GMC Sierra or Chevrolet Silverado with an 8-bolt hub produced from 1999 to 2007. That bulletin appears to have been superseded by other bulletins that are more generic, referring to virtually any GM-produced aluminium wheels installed on 2007 and prior GM cars and trucks. The current bulletin numbers are:
- #00-03-10-002D – Info - Chemical Staining, Pitting, Corrosion and/or Spotted Appearance of Chromed Aluminium Wheels
- #99-08-51-007C – Info - Refinishing Aluminium Wheels
